Roof Inspections
Roofs are very parts of a building that matter the most - however they are
also the part that is often neglected because it cannot be seen. It is only
when a leak occurs that the occupants of the building become aware of a defective
roof. In some buildings access to the roof is not possible from within the building.
So safe external access has to be provided so an inspection can be made. Such
access is usually in the form of long ladders secured to the building or scaffolding.
All of which take time to erect and cost a considerable amount of money. We can use our 26m vehicle mounted mast and our 15m portable telescopic masts
to photograph the the condition of the roof and identify defects and areas of
disrepair. Our remote control camera can photograph areas of the roof and we
can zoom-in on defects and areas of disrepair and obtain close-up photographs.
The vehicle mounted mast can quickly travel around the perimeter of the building
to photograph the roof from different angles or if immediate access to the side
of the building is not available, the vehicle can be positioned some distance
away and by using the zoom facility of the camera the roof can be inspected. All inspections are undertaken by our in house Chartered Building Surveyor
and Elevated Aspects is a registered company with Royal Institution of Chartered
Surveyors, so you can be assured you are dealing with a company who are property
professionals. We also offer the facility where you can take control of the camera remotely
and take pictures of the various problems yourself. All we do is set up the
mast and control its height and location around the building.
