Planning Issues - Applications, Appeals and Identifying Potential Development Site

Planning applications can assist planning applications. The low altitude photographs we are able to take using our specialist equipment allow the surrounding land and buildings to be shown in a manner that no other form of photography can achieve. This allows planners and planning committees to understand the proposed building in relation to its surroundings.

By positioning our telescopic mast at various points on the perimeter footprint of the proposed building and setting it to the the height of the building, we can show what the overall height of the building will look like in relation to the surrounding properties. If loss of amenity or intrusion for neighbouring property is a considered to be an issue, we can also set the telescopic mast at the exact location and height of the windows in the proposed building and photographs taken out of each window. This accurately records what will be seen by the occupants of the proposed building.

Our 26m telescopic mast is ideal for using where environmental impact assessments are required for siting of mobile telephone masts and wind turbines up to a height of 26m.. Providing vehicular access is possible for our specialist 4x4 vehicle then we can erect the telescopic mast to the height of the proposed mobile telephone mast or wind turbine. Photographs from ground level, at various locations are then taken of the mast.
