Boundary Disputes
Boundary Disputes are often costly and lengthy. As the old saying goes a picture
speaks a thousand words. This is often the case in photographs of boundary disputes. Such boundary disputes have traditionally relied on measured surveys being
undertaken of the area in question and plans and cross sections showing the
disputed area. The drawings from the survey can also be hard for arbitrators
or judges to visualise in 3d, especially if the boundary is a complex one. The
measured surveys rely on obtaining access to all of the land in question as
well as surrounding land, it takes just one person who refuses access to delay
the process. With our system we can set up our specialist equipment on neighbouring
land or public area and obtain photographs of the area in dispute. This ultimately
saves time and money. A photograph of the disputed boundary can immediately show the actual configuration
of buildings, hedges, tress etc. not only of the subject property but also of
the other neighbouring properties. Any deviations in the line of the boundary
can easily be identified.(E.g. a fence has been offset from those of neighbouring
properties in a row of houses).
