Our Elevated Photography Equipment
We have a full range of equipment that enable us to take aerial photographs
almost anywhere and in any situation. A 4x4 Land Rover with a 85ft telescopic mast mounted on it - the picture
to the side shows the mast approximately extended to about half its height.
It can be deployed in all but the most severe weather. This is the flagship of our company. It is a specially adapted Land Rover
Defender that allows us to go almost anywhere on land where a access for
the vehicle is possible. This means we can drive into fields and onto
grass verges in order to get the best photograph possible, something non
4x4 vehicles are unable to do. The mast can be deployed from any height between 13 feet and 85 feet.
This allows us to take a number of photographs at various heights each
displaying a different perspective of the property or area being photographed.
In the back of the Land Rover is a mobile control centre which allows
us and our clients if they wish, to control the camera on top of the mast
and view the images directly from the camera whilst the mast is in the
air. This means we are able to obtain the best composition for each photograph. A 50 Foot Portable Mast We also have a portable mobile 50 foot mast which can be deployed on those
rare occasions where the Land Rover is unable to be located in a position to
obtain a photograph. With the mast we have a mobile work station which enables
us to control the camera and view the pictures live, just the same as the 100
foot mast. An Unmanned Aerial Vehicle We also have an unmanned aerial vehicle which has a camera on board. This allows
us to take aerial photographs from heights up to several hundred feet, ideal
for photographing land and landscapes. This has a live feed of the image back
to our ground station enabling us to view the images before a photograph is
taken. Our UAV can only be deployed in situations where a take off and landing
zone is available and in areas and conditions where its use is safe to do so.
