Road Traffic Accidents

With the aid of our telescopic mast, Elevated Aspects are able to provide photographic evidence of accidents or the area around where an accident occurred. Such things as junctions layouts, road markings and the characteristics of the area including any street furniture (bus shelters) can be shown in an aerial photograph, such things do not show up in photographs taken at ground level. Video can also be taken showing the movements of other road users.

Solicitors, insurance companies and the police find such photographic evidence find such photographs very useful in reports and presenting evidence at court.

Here is an example of how the cause of a road traffic collision can be easily be understood using an aerial view. The example below is not a reconstruction, but was taken the day after the accident occurred.
