Planning Issues - Appeals
Our Elevated Photography system can be used in a number of ways to provide
supporting evidence in planning appeals and other property disputes. If a an adjoining owner feels that a proposed property will overshadow their
building or land we can erect our system on any point within the proposed building's
foot print. Then by setting the mast to the height of the proposed building
we can take timed photographs showing the shadow of the mast at various times
of the day. This is of course best done on a sunny day. The photographs can
then be produced to show where the shadow falls on the adjoining building or
land. Another way to use our system is when a planning department say that a proposed
building or house is to high for its setting. We can set our portable and vehicle
mounted masts at the ridge height of the proposed building and locate them at
each end of the building. Ground level photographs can then be taken from the
surrounding area. The the proposed ridge line can be imposed upon the ground
level photographs taken.
