Case Study 2.0

Saintfield Mill, Saintfield, County Down, Northern Ireland

Saintfield Mill is a new residential development by Alburn Homes. The development is located on the site of the former mill in the village of Saintfield County Down.

Elevated Aspects were approached by the agents, Bill McKelvey, who were marketing the development on behalf of Alburn Homes. Bill McKelvey had seen the results from some work we had undertook previously for some of their clients. Prior and during construction, the development had been marketed by using computer generated modeling techniques which gave a similar perspective to our photography. As with most computer generated models, they are great for giving people an idea of what a development will look like, but are completely different to the actual development once it is constructed, which often causes confusion for potential buyers.

In this instance, the model did not show the open expanse behind the development or the spacious areas within the development and above all the rear gardens that most of the properties have. Our brief was simple, capture the cricket pitches and open countryside to the rear of the development as well as the gardens and open areas within the development.

We also created a short video presentation of the development for inclusion in web advertising and promotion. (You can watch it below).

Here are just a few of the photographs we took of Saintfield Mill.
