Agriculture - Farm Crops

Our system can be used for monitoring and recording crop growth and development throughout the growing season. Precision agriculture at a very reasonable price.

Our specially prepared 4x4 Land Rover vehicle equipped with its telescopic mast can readily drive into a field and setup in several locations to take photographs of the crop. The photographs can then be examined for signs of colour variations and different growth rates. Such areas can then be studied in more detail to ascertain the cause and a suitable course of action to be identified.

Such aerial analysis once relied on the hiring of an airplane or helicopter to fly over the fields and then the farmer had to wait for the results - a very costly exercise and in some cases by the time the photographs were delivered the damage was done.

With our system, for the cost of one hours hire of a helicopter or plane, we can spend all day on the farm. The farmer can see the results immediately on the screen in front of him from the comfort of our mobile vehicle. Each photograph can be identified using gps and burned onto a cd for future reference by the farmer.
